Vice President – Business Development

Established communications company is seeking an experienced VP, Business Development to join their executive team. The VP, Business Development will be a pivotal role in aligning the sales efforts with technology partners and lead a dynamic sales team to achieve sales targets.

The VP, Business Development will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team across United States.
  • Recruit and develop a top-tier enterprise sales team.
  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets by managing and coaching the sales team.
  • Work collaboratively with the executive management team to establish the company’s strategic goals and direction.
  • Provide coaching, direction and accountability to those directly supervised
  • Network with individuals and organizations in the telecommunications industry in order to better understand future industry direction, build a network of resources and assist with the recruitment of sales and marketing positions.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

VP, Business Development must have:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience leading teams in strategic sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional and assertive demeanor with a proven record of leadership and reliability.
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategy required.
  • Competitive edge, complemented by innovative and decisive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, with a focus on sales forecasting and activity management.
  • Ability to travel
