QC Manager

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the continued development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of all Quality protocols to ensure company-wide regulatory compliance to FDA cGMPs and will oversee the testing of all raw materials and finished supplements in accordance with QC standards based on FDA cGMP testing protocol developed for dietary supplements.

The Quality Control Manager will assist in developing vendor standards and audit protocols to assure standards are being met, and oversee the in-house laboratory procedures and department including preparing and sending of samples to third party labs.

The Quality Control Manager will monitor production and packaging from the receipt of raw materials and semi-finished goods in accordance with in process specifications established for production and packaging and approve & oversee raw material, finished product testing and specifications through to the distribution of products to the marketplace. Assist in developing the rationales for testing protocols.

The Quality Control Manager will have a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration.

· 10+ years’ experience in QC/QA systems implementation and management with 5 years as a manger leading a Quality department

· Experience working in the Supplements, Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry.

· Six Sigma black-belt certified a plus.

· Proven track record of business performance improvement.
