Phone Triage Nurse

Our client, a well-established and growing Orthopedic practice in the Paramus area, needs a Phone Triage Nurse.

In this role you will be responsible for utilizing your assessment skills to evaluate patient’s reasons for calling and assess the urgency of the situation. You will be serving as a nurse navigator, providing individualized patient care, communicating, and interacting with patients and families as well as recognizing situations that may require immediate physician attention. You will be responsible for ordering and dispensing medications as per doctor’s orders. This position is working in a fast paced, orthopedic practice with excellent benefit package, PTO, Healthcare, and 401k. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5pm. The pay rate for this position is $38/hr.
