Environmental Health Safety Manager
EHS Manager (Environmental, Health & Safety)
Growing Manufacturer | Full-Time | Onsite
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year
A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental compliance and safety programs at the facility level. This role will drive regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead facility-wide EHS programs and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Manage environmental compliance including:

Hazardous waste (RCRA cradle-to-grave)

Spill prevention/response and SPCC plans
-
Air emissions permitting, tracking, and reporting

Wastewater discharge compliance (permits, monitoring, reporting)

Chemical management (SDS, GHS labeling, storage, compatibility)

Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective action planning

Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis

Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to implement safety and environmental initiatives

Maintain and strengthen systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Interface with regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, DEP/DEC, local authorities)
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred)

EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

Working knowledge of environmental regulations including:

EPA (air, water, hazardous waste, stormwater, chemical storage)

CERCLA / SARA Title III / EPCRA

Clean Air Act / Clean Water Act

Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926

Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
