Director-Quality Assurance
The Director of Quality Assurance provides strategic leadership to ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across company’s manufacturing, supply chain, and product development operations worldwide. This role owns the global Quality Management System (QMS), ensures regulatory compliance across multiple markets, and champions a culture of quality excellence aligned with Amare’s business objectives and growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global quality strategy, aligning quality objectives with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the global Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, and applicable international regulatory frameworks.
- Provide oversight of all quality assurance activities, including internal and external audits, supplier quality management, nonconformance management, CAPA, and root cause investigations.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to integrate quality into product lifecycle management, new product development, and market expansion.
- Direct global supplier and vendor quality programs, including qualification, audits, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead complex quality investigations involving deviations, complaints, and incidents, ensuring rigorous root cause analysis, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Develop, mentor, and lead regional quality teams, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and quality leadership.
- Ensure organizational readiness for regulatory inspections and support product registrations, market entries, and global product launches.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality assurance or quality systems, within dietary supplements, consumer health, or FMCG environments.
- Deep expertise in GMP, ISO, and global regulatory compliance, with experience managing multi-market and multi-region requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional and cross-regional teams, build scalable quality systems, and drive cultural change.
- Strong command of audits, CAPA, risk management, root cause analysis, and data-driven quality metrics.
- Experience leveraging QMS platforms, ERP systems, and analytics to support global operations.
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to balance compliance, efficiency, and business growth.
- Executive presence with outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of representing Amare Global with internal and external stakeholders.
