Human Resources Manager

Contract Manufacturer of cosmetics located in the Morris County, NJ area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Staffing process including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and terminating
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to a resolution
  • Ensure organizations compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary employees (100 employees) via Paychex flex system
  • Keep records of benefit plans, personnel transaction, I-9 forms, and employee statistics for government reporting
  • Enroll employees in benefit programs such as (life, medical, dental, 401k plans, etc.)
  • Manage questions and changes regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Manage social and ethical audits when needed
  • Maintain team hours, vacation requests, and employee personal information changes via Paychex flex system
  • Participate in HR related meetings, training, and seminars
  • Process accident claims, FMLA paperwork, Disability paperwork etc.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR related field
  • Microsoft skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations
  • Paychex experience is a plus
  • Bi-lingual(English/Spanish) a definite plus
