Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

Apparel company with back offices located in the Union County, NJ area is seeking an Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to join their Finance team.  This full-time permanent position will be responsible for a payroll of 100 employees using ADP Workforce.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist include:

  • Review and process vendor invoices and process payments according to agreed terms and conditions.
  • Record and process invoices, check requests and reoccurring monthly expenses of all service contracts.
  • Weekly, monthly and yearend Accounts Payable Aging and 1099 management.
  • Assist with reconciliations, maintain account records, and answer and research bills and resolving discrepancies.
  • Light Human Resources duties to include onboarding and employee benefit maintenance.
