Accounting Supervisor

Our client, a leader in the warehouse and transportation industry for over 40 years needs an Accounting Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with minimum five (5) years of experience in the field of accounting

Proficient with accounting software, Excel, Word and Outlook

Ability to interact with team members, vendors, customers  and senior management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail, strong math skills with high degree of accuracy

Capable of analyzing financial data and preparing reports on a timely basis

Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines

A team player with the ability to work independently

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Responsibilities will include the following:

Supervise Accounts Payable staff accountant

Review and analyze Landlord invoices for approval, communicate directly with landlords, analyze building expenses, including real estate taxes

Review payroll entries from Paylocity Payroll Service

Approve monthly bank reconciliations for Operating, Payroll and Money Market accounts

Prepare assigned workpapers for monthly financial closing

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements

Review monthly analyses of solar electric energy usage and cost for three  warehouses

Compensation based upon experience is $75,000 – $80,000 plus benefits that include, PTO, paid Holidays, Medical, dental ,vision and life insurance as well as 401(k) matching.  Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm.  For immediate consideration, apply today!
