Business Intelligence Architect

We’re looking for a proactive, team-player who will thrive in an entrepreneurial culture and can:

· Engage with clients and prospects to lead strategic conversations surrounding the application of business intelligence in our space.

· Lead delivery of engagements focused on BI, dashboarding, and operationalizing the insights gained through BI.

· Develop offerings, a team, and go to market plans.

· Serve as lead architect and deep SME in delivery of client engagements as needed. Tasks involved in these projects include working with clients to gather requirements, building out solution designs, overseeing development and user acceptance testing, and ensuring the final solution delivered meets the client’s needs

 

Essential Functions

· Works directly with clients in a consultative capacity to identify project objectives and business requirements.

· Partner with Sales and Services sales to develop BI offerings, pipeline, bookings and revenue.

· Participates in solution design sessions with the client and project team to determine technical requirements.

· Experience in all phases of solution delivery lifecycle (i.e., design, development, testing, and implementation).

· Oversee BI solution delivery to ensure that solution is meeting requirements.

· Ensures that all custom solution deliverables are complete and on-time

· Credibly lead business and technical conversations surrounding the application of Business Intelligence to Sales, Revenue, and Sales Enablement.

· Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools

 

Job Requirements

· 5-7 years work experience in consulting or professional services

· 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing/developing/configuring with Business Intelligence tools

· Experience including but not limited to business development, pre-sales activities, demonstrations, support in project delivery, and building practice competencies

· Experience building, developing, and working in teams

· Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications with demonstrated ability to present technical solutions in-depth including having a comfort level presenting both functional and technical material

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Degree in computer science, math, engineering, MIS/CIS or related technical field is preferred

· Experience w/ Jaspersoft’s BI platform is desirable

Job Requirements :

· Excellent Communication, Analytical, and Development skills.

· Expertise with .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET, VB.NET, AJAX, SQL, JavaScript

· 3-5 years experience with C#

· Experience with LINQ/Lambda Expressions, Extension Methods Inversion of Controls and Dependency Injection Covariance/Contravariance

· Demonstrated knowledge of Design patterns, Refactoring, and Unit Testing

· Experience with Nhibernate or another ORM in a large application.

· Experience with Razor View Engine a plus

· In depth experience of the .NET page life cycle.

· Demonstrated Experience working on large-scale, enterprise web applications supporting more than 50k users.

Education

· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Math or related experience

· Masters or PhD a plus.

Essential Functions

· Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

· Modify, repair, or expand existing programs to correct errors, increase efficiency, upgrade interfaces, or improve performance: aka re-factor

· Participate in Research and Development, Proof of Concepts and evaluations of new technologies in order to better solve the problems we face.

· Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools.

· Involved in and familiar with all phases of software development lifecycle

· Experience working in Agile project teams.

· Inform, Mentor and Train colleagues and partners

· Write and understand reason for code in addition to participating in code reviews

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

  • Maintain regular communication with all clients
  • Arrange and conduct face-to-face client meetings on a regular basis
  • Travel varies by geographic territory, but can be up to 25%.  On occasion, proofs-of-concept can be held at customer locations causing volatility in this travel expectation

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven or demonstrably outstanding presentation skills

  • Demonstrable understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and comfort with SQL
  • BS/BA Degree in MIS, Computer Science or technical field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in a customer facing role, whether sales, training or other
  • Successful completion of MicroStrategy certification program upon employment
  • Experience with Business Intelligence systems or relational database management systems a major plus
  • Experience with SAP connectivity and their Business Warehour/datawarehouse product

  • Working knowledge of corporate planning best practices
  • Working knowledge of Financial Close (Consolidations) standards and practices

Established manufacturer is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for writing, maintaining and training of Standard Operating Procedures.  Create, investigate and track all Quality Incident Reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintaining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Issuance System.
  • Train on all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Validate Lines – IQ/OQ
  • Investigate all Customer Complaints and prepare the Quality Incident Report for approval.
  • Investigate all Manufacturing and Production Quality Incidents and prepare the Quality Incident Report for approval.
  • Tracking and trending of Quality Incident Reports.
  • Approve all packaging Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Completing all regulatory (FDA, ATF, etc.) forms.
  • Completing all customer Quality scorecards.

Qualification Requirements:

  •  MUST be Bi-lingual (Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/cosmetic industry
  • Three to five years of managing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of cGMP’s
  • Good observation skills and attention to detail
  • MS Office computer skills
