Established company is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist with Adobe InDesign experience.  This great full-time permanent opportunity will be responsible for:

  • provide marketing support to the National Accounts team including the development and execution of monthly promotions, email marketing, direct mail, and trade show coordination
  • Timely and accurate execution of monthly web updates and online shopping specials
  • Coordination of e-mail blast materials for monthly promotions, inside sales and regional key accounts

Technical Handbag Designer

Job Functions:

  • Create and execute original technical design concepts and drawings in keeping with the brand and conceptual direction.   Includes seasonal concepts that are cost efficient, market right (meet marketing plans, briefs and consumer expectations) and within calendar deadlines.
  • Provide drawings, computer aided designs and – in conjunction with the sample makers – crafted samples (mockups) that detail and demonstrate new technical aspects.
  • Create a minimum of three (3) new design techniques per season.
  • Create new techniques to craft, mold and construct leather as well as new techniques to embellish and decorate new designs. In addition to Hardware concepts
  • Develop a historical library of technical design to foster design evolution.
  • Research trends through WGSN, Style.com and various high end magazines.
  • Attend weekly design meetings.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, colors and design details.
  • In conjunction with the design team attend meetings with vendors to buy or develop materials including fabrics, leathers trims, etc.
  • For each and every line introduction, assist the design team with the presentation of “story boards” and conceptual design development to management.
  • Attend post market meetings and note changes

 

Requirements:

  • Must have technical design experience in handbags and a proven track record of success.
  • Must be excellent at hand drawing/sketching
  • Full working knowledge of creative suite of software
  • Flexible, organized, detail oriented; work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Understands and works within the parameters of a design team.
  • Overseas travel as needed

Hyperion Sr. Technical Analyst

World’s leading learning company is looking for a Sr. Technical Analyst with 5 years experience with the installation and configuration of Hyperion 9.3.1.x or higher for a global 1,000+ user environment.  This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to support a global deployment of the full Oracle/Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage new software release schedule (evaluate, schedule, configure, test)
  • Assist with tuning of databases
  • Manage application migrations
  • Assess existing hardware footprint
  • Manage, configure and trouble shoot the Load balancers
  • Support the web applications and the respective technologies
  • Monitor CPU and memory utilization for all apps
  • Monitor and capacity plan disk space on the Intel and oracle servers
  • Keep abreast of new technologies (EAL, ODI, DRM)
  • Act as an escalation point for the Technical Analyst on resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Patch maintenance (evaluate, schedule, configure, test)

This is a highly visible position within the greater PRIME Support team.  Must be able to work with other internal and external organizations to design, build, test and support an infrastructure to support our current and future EPM solutions.

 

This position does have supervisory responsibilities including supervising outside consultants.

 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Accounting or Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • General functional knowledge or understanding of Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial analysis processes
  • 5 years experience with the installation and configuration of Hyperion 9.3.1.x or higher for a global 1,000+ user  environment.
  • Experience with Life Cycle Management and performing application migrations between environments.
  • Should be familiar with various web application and load balancers.
  • Experience working within a hosted environment.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills and  ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers.
  • Effective communication skills; comfortable working with people from various levels of management from business teams and technology teams.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: LCM, ODI, MDM/DRM, Visual Basic (VB)
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • This person will be required to work non traditional hours, including weekends, depending on the needs of the business.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills; and understands linkage between the business work flow and technology.
  • Takes initiative to continuously expand knowledge base  and suggests ways to improve business and technical processes.
  • Collaborates and uses feedback as a way to improve  quality of work product
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Active Directory and the interactions with Shared Services

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: B.S. in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Chemical
  • Experience:  10-15 years total business experience including
    • Working in a manufacturing environment
    • Working with web handling equipment in the printing and coating industries.
      [Experience with latest Gallus printing technology is significant advantage]
  • Extensive experience and proven track record specifying, procuring, installing, qualifying and commissioning web handling equipment
  • Proven track record successfully managing significant multi-faceted equipment installations requiring utilities and facilities related improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with and manage equipment and service suppliers, local authorities and internal customers simultaneously
  • Must be familiar with most current drive and control technologies and have good understanding of control theory and electrical components
  • Must have ISO experience; GMP experience is preferred

Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining the pricing database, deriving and implementing effective pricing methodology and facilitating all bid/quoting activity for the company.  Those activities include communicating with the sales force, product/marketing staff and all other related contacts.

  •  Prepare formal quotations on a timely basis with minimal supervision
  • Manage bids and follow-up on bid awards
  • Maintain a quoting log, follow-up on all quotes with sales management and monitor results
  • Recommend enhancements to improve the quoting process
  • Create and maintain a database of competitive market pricing
  • Review all pricing requests and propose changes as necessary to sales management
  • Track revenue and margin gains, report results to management
  • Create reports to track the effectiveness of general price performance and recommend alternative methodologies that maximize gross margin and market share
  • Work with marketing, purchasing, product and accounting on price book updates

 

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills including vlookup, pivot tables
  • Prior pricing or quoting experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BS/BA Degree within general business discipline (i.e. accounting/finance, economics, general business)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Previous experience in B2B distribution a plus
